Mira Intel is collaborating with The Trust for Governors Island to enhance urban resilience using advanced drone imaging and AI analytics across the Island’s historic built environment, public parklands, and water infrastructure.

Project Objectives

Pilot Climate Tech Deployment: Support Governors Island’s Climate Piloting Program by integrating drone based scans with environmental innovation projects testing resilience and mitigation solutions

Waterfront & Utility Inspections: Map and assess the 2.2 mile waterfront, 43 acre park, and underground sewer/water systems to inform climate adaptation planning

Historic Preservation & Monitoring: Survey over 50+ historic buildings, including Fort Jay and Castle Williams, to detect structural issues early and support conservation efforts
